The Project: Community Hero PA is leading a project called “New Moms Chime In:  A Healthy Babies Philly Community Voice Initiative.  This vaccine education initiative is focused on African American communities in Philadelphia and Montgomery County. We’re conducting four (4) listening sessions (estimated- October 2025-February 2026) to understand community perspectives and develop culturally appropriate educational materials.

What We Need: An experienced facilitator who can create safe spaces for honest conversations about vaccine concerns. This isn’t about convincing anyone.  It’s about truly listening to community voices to inform better health communication.

Ideal Candidate:

• 3+ years facilitating health-related community conversations
• Demonstrated trust and credibility in African American communities
• Experience with sensitive health topics (vaccine hesitancy, reproductive health, etc.)
• Strong listening skills and neutral facilitation approach
• Can provide community references

Compensation: $200-350 per session (4-5 sessions total)
