Vaccines and Vaccine Education

As the new school year begins, every child deserves to start on an equal footing.   Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting a bookbag giveaway event in collaboration with Health Partners, YMCA Pottstown, and the Pottstown Cluster.  Together, we were able to brighten the lives of more than 100 children and their families, ensuring they have the necessary tools to embark on their educational journeys with confidence and connect with approximately 300 attendees. This heartwarming event brought together various local groups, who generously provided helpful information and delightful giveaways like hand-decorated notebooks and school supplies. We were also thrilled to partner with Skippack Pharmacy once again, offering free COVID and flu vaccines to attendees. This blog post will not only reflect on the success of our event but also shed light on the importance of bookbag giveaways for children in need.

By bringing various local groups under one roof, we were able to connect families with valuable resources and information, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment. It truly takes a village to make a difference, and this event exemplified the power of community collaboration.
