Now in its 5th year, the Community in Action Festival returns to Cobbs Creek Parkway on Saturday, August 22, 2026 — and it’s free.
This is West Philadelphia’s annual celebration of health, wealth, and community power. Expect 400+ neighbors, 60+ community organizations, live programming, free resources, and real connections. Whether you’re looking for health screenings, financial empowerment tools, civic engagement opportunities, or just a great day outside with your family — this is where you belong.
Presented by Community Hero PA, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit equipping African American women and families with the knowledge, resources, and community to thrive.
