Maya Bass, MD, MA, FAAFP is a Family Medicine Physician With Tower Health and an Assistant Professor at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.
She completed her undergraduate and masters studies at Wesleyan University. She earned her Medical Degree from Jefferson Medical College. She completed residency training in Family Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University. After a few years working in a rural federally qualified health center she returned to Academic medicine and joined the department at Tower Drexel Academic Group.
She is passionate about teaching medical students and residents as well as working with marginalized communities specifically in the areas of reproductive health, substance use disorder, chronic pain, and wellness.
